It gave me the chills. I love what Dove is trying to do. I've know so many women/girls who strive for the impossible, airbrushed "reality" they are bombarded with every day. Having struggled with this a bit myself, it terrifies me as to what my two girls will think of themselves and their appearances, as time goes on. I try to tell them they are beautiful every day and so strongly desire for them to know that the only value that really matters in their value in Christ.
I saw that a few days ago and I have to say...it is refreshing to see that beauty really is only skin deep! I love all of Dove's latest campaigns - they put the real truth out there, and that is what the current generation of teenagers and little girls need to see.
